Every home and business is different. We start by looking at the entrances, vulnerable areas and how you use the building. Then we recommend what will provide useful protection.
For CCTV, that means covering the areas that matter rather than selling the largest possible number of cameras. For alarms, it means choosing detectors, controls and notifications that are simple to live with.

Secure East is a small independent business. Lloyd and Matthew carry out the surveys, installations and servicing ourselves. If you call with a question or a fault, you speak to someone who understands the equipment and may already know your property.
You deal directly with the engineers doing the work. We will listen to what you need, explain the options clearly and design a system that suits the property. No call centre. No sales team. No pressure to buy equipment you do not need.

Can you take over an alarm another company installed?
Yes. We service, repair and take over many existing alarm systems. We inspect the equipment and explain what can be retained and what needs attention. A working system does not always need to be replaced.
Can you repair an existing CCTV system?
We can inspect many existing CCTV systems and explain whether repairs, adjustments or selected upgrades could improve their performance. Tell us the equipment make and what is going wrong. We will explain any inspection or repair charges before work begins.
How many CCTV cameras does a house need?
There is no fixed number. We consider entrances, driveways, gardens, outbuildings, lighting and blind spots before recommending cameras. The aim is useful coverage of the areas that matter.
Do I need a monitored alarm?
A standard audible alarm or app notifications may suit some properties. Professional monitoring can help when you are unavailable: an alarm receiving centre handles signals and contacts nominated keyholders according to your agreed response plan. Our keyholder monitoring does not automatically include police response.
How often should an alarm be serviced?
The right schedule depends on the equipment and how it is used. Regular servicing helps identify weak batteries and faults. Tell us about your alarm and we will advise on a suitable maintenance plan, including systems fitted by another installer.
Do you offer a free survey?
Yes. We offer a free, no-obligation survey for new installations and a clear quotation before work starts. Fault-finding and repair visits may involve charges, which we will explain in advance.
